Points of View Reference Center: Provides students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides more than 280 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument), counterpoint (opposing argument), and Critical Thinking Guide. This resource is accessed through NC Live. *

OneClickdigital Audio Book Collection: Over 1200 titles in fiction and nonfiction, including classics, history, and popular fiction. These audio books can be listened to on any computer (Mac or PC) and can be transfered to an iPod or most MP3 players to listen to on the go. The site is easy to use, but requires you to create your own login so you can have a personal book shelf. This resource is accessed through NC Live. *

NC Live Video Collection: The NC LIVE Video Collection is a collection of more than 250 high quality documentary and educational video programs produced for the Public Broadcasting Corporation. Chosen by North Carolina librarians for use in supporting education and for general interest, the collection includes programming covering the sciences, US and world history, biography, current events, and the arts, as well as a variety of other subjects. In addition, several educational series for children are included. This resource is accessed through NC Live. *

Teen Ink: Teen Ink is a national teen magazine, book series, and website devoted entirely to teenage writing, art, photos and forums. Students must be age 13-19 to participate, register and/or submit work. Distributed through classrooms , Teen Ink magazine offers some of the most thoughtful and creative work generated by teens and has the largest distribution of any publication of its kind. Depends completely on submissions from teenagers nationwide.

SIECUS: The website for the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS) has all types of great information on it about sex, sexual orientation, and sexual health! SIECUS is supported by individual contributions, foundation grants, and a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Wise Guys: Wise Guys make wise decisions. This website gives great information on healthy relationships, teen pregnancy prevention and STD prevention just for guys.

Just Yell Fire: Just Yell Fire is a non-profit organization teaching girls to fight back against predators and sexual assault. Use their website to check out the movie, the books, and tons of great information!

National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy: This website has great links to other sites and good information about how to prevent pregnancy.
